Built on a all-welded steel frame, for a long lasting durability, it features dust hoods, a work table with steel casters and aluminum pulleys on sealed ball bearings for smooth and quiet strokes.
The Waters Industrial Stroke Sander can put a number of different finishes on flat metal surfaces. The stroke sander operates by utilizing an abrasive belt on a flat metal surface. Feed wheels send your part along the guide rails through the feed area. The drive wheel runs on a 3-phase, five HP motor. A tensioning wheel adjusts the tightness of the belt to reduce or increase the grinding action. The Waters Industrial Stroke Standard comes with a hand block to apply manual pressure on the belt and the work piece, else an optional contact wheel attachment can apply strong, steady pressure. This stroke sander comes in models of 5 different table sizes, including 48”x28”, 72”x28”, 100”x30”, 128”x30”, and 144”x30”.
