Built on a all-welded steel frame, for a long lasting durability, it features dust hoods, a work table with steel casters and aluminum pulleys on sealed ball bearings for smooth and quiet strokes.
The Waters Industrial 72”x28” stroke sander will help you ensure a smooth, professional finish on all of your cut- and welded-metal pieces. The stroke sander operates by passing an abrasive belt along parallel guide rails. A hand block or optional contact wheel attachment apply contact pressure to the metal surface, smoothing out burrs and weld seams.
The stroke sander is powered by a standard 3-phase 5 horsepower engine, with an optional 7.5 HP upgrade. The belt is kept at a steady, consistent speed for optimal polishing, but a variable speed 5 HP motor is available for ultimate customization.
This Waters Industrial stroke sander comes in 5 sizes: 48”x25”, 72”x28”, 100”x30”, 120”x30” and 144”x30”. The 24-inch vertical displacement allows polishing of materials with multiple sides.
