This greaseless polishing compound is ideal for a variety of uses, including: burring, polishing, trimming, blending, breaking edges, and eliminating machine marks, pits, and surface imperfections.

It is particularly effective for cleaning rusty surfaces and welding burns while excelling at removing machine marks. The term "greaseless" is attributed to this polishing compound because it is made free of grease, oil, or wax. The formulation consists of abrasive grits mixed with a glue and water combination, functioning as the adhesive binder.

As the solid is applied to a rotating buffing wheel, the heat generated through friction softens the compound, creating a coating on the wheel face. This coating dries rapidly, forming a flexible and resilient abrasive cutting surface ready for immediate use.
